HORSE RIDING EXCURSION ON MOUNT GAGGIO – Intermediate Level

Scenic route surrounded by nature on Mt. Gaggio. This two-hour trail is designed for those who have done horseback riding before but are not professionals and want to enjoy a horseback ride in the mountains. The hike is varied and includes somewhat challenging uphill sections, technical passages alternating with smoother sections. The route is scenic and gives us glimpses of the Brenta group, Paganella and Monte Bondone. A first half hour of field practice is planned to get familiar with the horse and figure out how to handle it; then we set off for the hike in the woods.

The first half hour takes place in the arena for a briefing on horse handling and management techniques and practice riding the horse before the hike in the woods.

2-HOUR HORSEBACK RIDING EXCURSION – ADVANCED LEVEL

If you are an experienced rider (you ride regularly) and are looking for a trail that can combine commitment and freedom, this trail on Mt. Beech is the right choice. This hike is designed for those who are familiar with horseback riding and wish to experience the mountains at a walk, trot and, why not, even some galloping sections. Between significant climbs and smoother sections, narrow passages with some rocks, the route offers glimpses of Lake Cavedine, the Brenta group, Paganella and Monte Bondone. A varied itinerary, in the company of an experienced guide, for those seeking an authentic way to explore nature: on horseback.

What is meant by “advanced level”: being able to handle the horse independently in all 3 gaits (gait, trot, gallop) and having taken riding courses and practicing riding regularly or having practiced in the past for years.
