CAVEDINE LAKE HIKE – Expert Level
Are you an experienced rider and want to make a longer trek than just 2 hours in the saddle? Then the 3 1/2-hour hike to Lake Cavedine is the right choice!
Through paths and country lanes, one reaches Lake Cavedine. We ride all the way around the lake on a very scenic new trail and then return to country lanes and mountain trails and climb back through the woods to the ranch.
This approximately 3.30-hour trail is intended for experts, i.e., those who ride regularly. The route includes significant ascents and descents,narrow passages, road crossings, and piers. It is a very scenic and scenic trail.
Sections of the trail are trotted/ galloped.

What is meant by “expert level”: being able to handle the horse independently in all 3 gaits (gait, trot, gallop) and having taken riding classes and practicing riding regularly or having done it in the past for years.
